Branding and web design for PRRI

PRRI is a non-profit, non-partisan organization conducting research at the intersection of religion, values and public life. Working with PRRI to create a new brand recognition resulted in this simple modern logo symbolic of what they do: outside the box research with real people, seeking answers for interesting questions that people really want to know about.

Designing for data

The logo

The mark was a lot of fun to create as it was one of the situations where several concepts come together and you get an icon that has a lot of fun ways to read it. It is a speech bubble with charts in it but can also be read as the letter P or an open folder.

The site

One big challenge for the site was to walk the line between interesting and informational. Spots of bright color keep things cheery and youthful (matching the feel of their polling questions) while the dark navy and thin lines keep the overall tone informative and knowledgable.
